Synjardy is a combination of metformin (e.g., Aglurab or Glucophage) and a glucoretic (Jardiance). The first component has a preventive effect on the cardiovascular system, helping people live 18% longer, according to the U.S. federal registry. The second component protects the heart and blood vessels, reducing the risk of heart failure or cardiac asthma by 30%. The combined effect results in significantly better outcomes for the heart and blood vessels than standard medications (e.g., Gliclada), so these pills will also be very beneficial for your spouse.
